This month’s website, CutECOsmetics.co.uk is aimed at consumers with a conscience and is an eco, organic and cruelty-free cosmetics company. I have recently been attempting to buy more organic and natural products as I am aware of how many chemicals can be present in beauty products, and I stumbled upon this website which has a great range of makeup and skincare.
Their website includes some very well-known brands such as Urban Decay, Barry M and Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, to lesser known brands (to me anyway!) such as Inika and Crazy Rumors. They also sell a wide range of Ecotools brushes.
One of the main benefits of the site is that you can search by ‘ethics’, where you can search for only organic or vegan products. This is very useful for those who feel it is important for their beauty products to correspond with their ethics.
Finally, I have to add that they offer completely free shipping which I tend to feel is essential for online shopping these days, especially when purchasing items that are difficult to locate on the high street. There is nothing that puts me off a website more than if they charge extortionate shipping charges of £5 an order, especially if I only want to buy one product!! The website states that shipping takes 2-5 days, although I have found that it generally takes only a couple of days as orders are dispatched pretty speedily. If you need your shopping fix faster, there are other options for next day delivery from £3.95.
