Website of the Month - Lush Duck

I recently discovered the website Lush Duck’ from the lovely Sarah and her excellent blog ‘Sugarpuffish’.

Lush Duck sells a fabulous, finely chosen selection of natural beauty products which 'save your skin, hair, body and soul, as well as the environment.'

I’ve recently become more and more aware of what I am putting on my skin and thought  it can’t be good to apply such a wide variety of chemicals to your body on a daily basis.  Lush Duck appeals to my current sentiments and ensures that their products are free from many of the usual nasties, along with being cruelty free as standard.

I also really admire their environmental policy of using recycled packaging, especially as I’ve often ordered from other companies who deliver your goods in a  ton of packaging which often has to be thrown away as it is not recyclable!  All postage within the UK is free too!

Brands range from those such as Burts Bees and Organic Surge, to Madara and Lavara, two brands which I am not familiar with, but with products that I am looking forward to exploring.

There are lots of products I am excited to try out but these three in particular caught my eye.

Lavera Mango Milk Shampoo(£9.45, £8.45) and Conditioner
This looks like it would be really nourishing for my hair colour and would lock the colour in without it fading quickly, which is always a problem for me!  I love the smell of mangoes too so the scent of this is certainly something I think I’d like.

I adore a proper scrub and it is an essential part of my morning shower routine.  I just don’t feel fully awake unless I’ve sloughed off some dead skin somewhere!  This body polish contains organic coconut oil and shea butter to moisturise, whilst using coconut shell pieces to buff my skin into shape.

In the summer, I leave my foundations on the shelf and I am all about tinted moisturisers for evening out my skin and providing a little coverage to get me through the day.  This one is certainly on my must buy list as I love trying new tinted moisturisers!  There is also a version for darker skintones, the Sun Flower Tinted Moisturiser Fluid

Have you bought anything from Lush Duck?
Have you tried any of these products?

  1. Love these posts. I'm always looking for natural sites. I've managed to swap hair/skincare products for more natural options but I'm not sure I'm still havent made the switch with makeup, not sure I'd be able to.
